Got the bike out from hibernation and as it is dry today went for a ride. But bugger me I was an icycle after 120km.

Rather annoyingly I got a whopper of a nail in the side of the almost brand new tyre so had to choose something different to replace it on the monkey bike.
Chose a set of Pirelli SL60, rather nice on the road and on the dirt too

Cheer up everyone...soon be Summer, and you can cover your mouth, nose and eyes, and wear gloves, then go out on your own without looking silly.

Took a thirty mile ride out today and took advantage of a dry morning......for a change, rode to the David Stirling Memorial located in Doune, Central Scotland.
A chilly ride but so enjoyable, just as I got home the heavy rain arrived.....what's new..!

And what better to do it on than an Aprilia Mille. One of my favourite bikes. I've raced them, ridden them and polished them.
