Afternoon happy campers,

Aldi have those lightweight camping chairs for ยฃ18. Bargain if you need one.

Bought a couple last year and they're great - only downside is because of the small footprint they tend to sink into softer ground. Only a problem until you have 4 crushed beercans available (and in my case, by the time you have the fourthcan available, you're sitting on the floor anyway  )

Yep, they do not like soft ground, I have seen them with a little cloth web that goes between the feet to stop sinking...

Stick mine on an old car mat seems to keep me from sinking.

Two tennis balls cut in half, does the job of increasing the footprint and easily pack into the chair case.

Large walking stick ferules also work

But you lot are very good at coming up with fixes and hacks for everything, a real mine of information on this site, trouble is when i'm stuck somewhere i can't for the life of me remember any of them!!!!! as im old and forgetful lol..........(should get myself a little book of hacks hehehe)
