I’m a great believer in ‘pass it forward’, do someone a favour if you can, so if anyone is faced with a long run to the South coast prior to a Chunnel or ferry crossing I can offer camping space in my garden, access to my kitchen and downstairs loo. Two local pubs as well.
I’m about 35 mins from the tunnel and 45 mins from Dover. If you’ve just got a bed roll and sleeping bag I have a dry clean insulated shed too though you’d have to share with my Husaberg
Your shed sounds great. I’ll get in contact with you spring 2019. I’m planning on going to Spain via French Portuguese coast. It’ll be my first bike trip to Europe. Going solo. Unless anyone wants to join the trip.
Saves erecting the tent for one night. Your shed sounds good
Cheers
Kevin
Hi mike. Might take you up on your kind offer. Going to France in may 2019. Not decided exactly when yet but travelling down from Yorkshire so would be good to stop the night and early ferry.
Cheers Chris. Coyote.
Ps will be taking a mate and my dog “buddy”

I meet lots travelling from up North [England/Scotland] to France too. Morning ferry across to Northern Ireland [Belfast or Larne] then a drive and then same afternoon take overnight ferries Dublin to Cherbourg, Rosslare to Cherbourg/Roscoff or Cork to Roscoff. All arrive early next day. No hotels.

Only if you have had your inoculations.
