Cape Town to London on small to mid size bikes. Maybe even cheap, local bikes. Toothbrush and T shirts.

Egypt is said to often impound bikes so that’s why south to north.

I have been dreaming of visiting Italy for a long time. It is a very beautiful country.

Go for it. Egypt is not the most stable country at the mo but we’ve never had a problem getting in or out - can be a bit long winded at the border though.

I think you’ll want to head for the hills at some point. The traffic on the coast around Biarritz, Algarve , Costa del Sol, Med coast of France and Genoa in Italy will drive you nuts, not to mention the heat!

Enjoy the trip :D

Japan, as much for the culture as the riding.

Oh, wow.

Grand Canyon, Niagra falls, doing the Vietnam top gear ride they did, would all be special.

But not as special as finding the waterfall that used to be a stream that my dad used to fish in County Armagh.
Has it got dusty in here all of a sudden??

Pretty much 'did that' on the trip around the US, this year.

But, the idea of riding down through Europe, to places south, has appeal.
