GoPro settings
GoPro settings
What settings do people use in their Gopros? I've been playing with my new Gopro at 1920 and the file sizes it generates are huge! If I go down to 720 at 25fps, I think they'll be much more manageable. And then there's the FOV (field of view). Do I go for wide, medium or narrow? I wondered what other people use for best results?
Re: GoPro settings
720 is pants, i usually go with 2.7k @50fps so you can get some useable slo mo if needed.
I run with linear field of view for non bike stuff and would suggest wide for on bike with sharpness at medium

Re: GoPro settings
I use 1060 and wide.
The file sizes are still large, but not enough to crash anything....but the quality remains really good HD. I've messed with the field of view and in my opinion anything other than wide looks like tunnel vision.

Re: GoPro settings
I stick with 1080p 60fps,still brilliant quality images and easy to edit, does great slow motion shots to,higher quality for me just means less battery life, requires more storage, more processor power, takes longer to upload/download,it's just a general faff all round.
