I would have thought any two pack epoxy resin would have been suitable.

That's probably the way I'll go for lack of alternatives locally. But I've tried one and will go for Araldite. Interesting ideas though ...

An awful lot of glue is not suitable for outdoor use - quite surprising when you start reading the instructions....like real men would do that!!

Ah, but only if the new Niva has real quarter lights as as option. Opening them right round to face forwards is the nearest thing we get to AC!

I use Araldite in work to bond glass to stainless,but,bear in mind it is not particularly heat resistant! If I rework a job I simply heat it with a hot air gun and off it pops!
Might be worth bearing in mind living in Spain B)
