Hex Allen key head snapped in screw, I need some help?

do you mean the clamp around the handle bars? if so jus cut through it with a junior hacksaw and buy a new clamp.

Could you heat a snugg piece of pipe and melt the plastics at the base of the Allen thus gaining access to either grind off or grip with grips hopefully plastics could them be fixed

what about welding something onto the head that you can fit a socket onto? Give you more force to get it off

Excuse me I do actually have no idea what i'm talking about but the above sounds like something i'd try then cut my finger on, then proceed to go in and see the missus have a good rant, then sulk and then figure out something more practicable that works! :whistle:

To help I have attached a couple of pictures showing the bolt and nut and you can see on picture the difference between bolt with broken Hex nip in it and one which is okay.

Speaking from experience, and unless some wise soul here knows a better way, you're going to have to grind it off. Careful you don't melt the plastic guard though.

At the back where you can see the nut....try, as mentioned a Dremel disc cutter....or if you don't mind zapping a bit of your plastic guard if that won't work.....try and disc cut a cross pattern end on.....this way you might be able to tap the nut and end of bolt off or squeeze enough repeatedly with vise grips to collapse the nut/bolt thus allowing you to tap the bolt on out from the cut side.

Drill small hole through two opposite flats of the nut, you can turn it to give best access, gradually increase the drill size, then a sharp tap with a chisel to split the nut. You can then tap the bolt out toward the broken end.

before you start cutting
you could try and use a female torx one which is just smaller than the outside edge of the bolt
take out your best and most loved hammer and batter the bugger on to said bolt
you will get a bit more leverage on the outside edge
