Cut off the stand about 2.5 inches, but I dropped the height of the bike by about 1.5 inches
Before You weld the stand after shortening don't forget to cut a 6 inch length of 1/2 inch steel bar to slide inside the stand between the two parts to give it strength, if you don't do that it may snap at the weld at some point.

Hi Netsonic

No, if you go to EBC's website it still lists the wrong pad number. He only said to me they would update the next catalogue, but does seem a bit strange that they wouldn't update their own site as well :unsure:

"The trails of the world be countless, and most of the trails be tried.

You tread on the heels of many, till you come where the ways divide.

And one lies safe in the sunlight, and the other is dreary and wan, Yet you look aslant at the Lone Trail, and the Lone Trail lures you on....

....Bid good-bye to sweetheart, bid goodbye to friend, The Lone Trail, the Lone Trail, follow to the end.

Tarry not, and fear not, chosen of the true;

Lover of the Lone Trail, The Lone Trail waits for you"

Not the best but will look at the different bulb that someone posted on here and add a couple of driving lights from ebay.

My DRZ has the same problem I fitted some 10w 3 LED fittings to the hand guards to improve the lighting.The lighting is too wide spread but as an experiment a great improvement over the standard output.Though I had to tape the clear edges as it has a very distacting light output.
