So if i read the title of this thread right...Scotland is the best place in the word to find a No2? I'm sure there are much better places to find crap!

Mind you the last time i was there the curry i had did go right through me!

Good timing, just planning 8-10 days there in April with my lad on his 125. Van the two bikes up, hop on a few ferries and, if weather half decent, a spot of wild camping. If the weather is looking real crap (I think there is occasionally a spot of rain  ) then we'll pop down to Pompey for a ferry to somewhere warmer as only 40 miles from us.

Skye is so nice. As is quite a lot of the rest of it. If you head there along the A87 you get to ride past this (thumbs)

And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

If they were second, can we have a competition on how many other countries were voted joint first?
Maybe we can start a list - Norway( my 1st choice) Sweden, India, Italy, France? (French alps!) Spain and Portugal must be a better destination for bikes.
Australia, New Zealand, Usa, Canada, Africa all could get a mention.

Think you have undersold us a bit there Frank, no 1 according to this site. http://en.mediamass.net/world/ss/best-country.html just yesterday so hot of the press so to speak. Nicest people too, but we knew that anyway.

Nepal, India, Croatia, South Africa, America, France, Switzerland, Namibia, Spain, Mexico, in any order.

All but one of these must have come behind Scotland. Hmmmm.

Maybe the parameters need tweaking.

As with Herman, we can get to the Alps quicker than the Highlands, which is a real shame as Scotland is great for all types of holiday.
2022 Triumph Tiger 900 Rally Pro sadly gone due to ill health.
Now on a 2025 Triumph Scrambler 400X but may be fitter next year.
