Re: Handlebar bag recommendations
I added a "crossbar" to my Triumph handlebar with the express purpose of mounting a GL bag and also a satnav mount--GL works well for those bits and pieces(and cables, loose change, toll tickets and so on). GL stuff is not cheap but "made in America" to a high standard. I use their small tankbag as well--brilliant--unzips either side from the base for easy tank fill ups and unzips totally very quickly so that you can carry it to the cafe as a "man bag". I've also used the GL Coyote--brick built!

Re: Handlebar bag recommendations
Hi Daniel PM sent.
OnHellas & catcitrus thanks for the tips, the Tuareg is the one I wanted to try first because quite a few folk on xt660.com recommended them and with Daniel's generous offer it looks like I am sorted.

I love handlebar bags, Ive had a wunderlich for years which has now seen better days and doesnt fit the 701 so I have ordered the GL zigzag to try.
This looks quite good value https://www.louis-moto.co.uk/artikel/mo ... g/10026525
