Question, what are my options? Fit the older 690 shock (think it was longer?) don't want to go down the Ohlins route ( I know they're good as I have one on my AT Rally) but cost a fortune...Thoughts..
Hi Just a thought has a previous owner fitted 300mm travel forks off an exc ? seen lots do this but never did anything with the shock, If so you need to lengthen the shock by 4.5mm or see John at rally raid for a new longer shock as fitting a new spring will not help

Like I say just a thought :)

Contact Chris Hockey at DR shox he can both re valve and lengthen (both ends) for a reasonable price with huge improvements. He has done my last 2 690's . The good thing is he talks things through to understand what you need then carries out the necessary changes. Highly recommended.
