are these just not to big to cart around on a bike, went to the super rally in 2007 and my mate took is lad on the back of his harley and hes was proper fuxked when we got there as it was like a parachute and this was one of the small ones and it was just a 3 foot wide disc

They are big, all of them are about 90cm but i was thinking of not taking the topbox and have it sitting on the pillion seat over the top of the panniers and the top box plate. Honestly i havent tried it yet but love the idea of camping but hate putting tents up after a long day in the saddle so its an option. Especially if these new ones on the market are half as good as they seem.

You can now buy inflatable tents!, they inflate, never tried one but seems that they will pack away into a small bag try looking on ebay (thumbs) not sure how well they would cope with wind though!!

I've been an avid user of Quecha pop up tents, and think they are brilliant.
We even have a (comfy 3man) 4 man tent with porch that has lasted about 4 years
now sofar.
Yes there is a technique to packing tham but once you have mastered it they are
really easy to pitch and pack.
But they are not suitable for motorbike use as they pack into flat discs about
1m in diameter...

wayne mate, they are called spoilers and you will need to wear the necessary baseball cap back to front
