Where is the best place for helmets?

Post by Brenhden »

Hi all,

I need a new helmet and I have an extra large slightly funny shaped head. Where is the best place in England I can go to try on extra large helmets? I've tried the NEC a few times but I would prefer a shop. I travel with work so anywhere south of Glasgow is fine.

Cheers

Bren

Try J&S. They used to be pretty shite (low end stuff) but recently have really sorted themselves out and have a huge range of helmets to try on, as well as all manner of other clothing, accessories and biking gubins.

There's a great place down in West Bay (nr Bridport) called Helmet City. Some great roads from your house down to there as well (thumbs)

Best avoided on a Sunday. Wall to wall bikes, sports bikes, cruisers. Etc but not a one Adventure bike.

You could also try Infinity bikes.
Doesn't M&P do helmets and think they are somewhere near you.
