Bluetooth bar controller

Post by Mike54 »

Does such a thing exist particularly to control spotify with a gloved hand? All I want are play/pause, skip fwd/back, volume up down. Have googled til fingers bled, nothing doing?

I have used an Interphone one, works well, much easier than pressing buttons on your helmet.

I have a sena 10u which comes with a handle bar remote, grand for pausing music and answering calls.

I bought the Daytone BT controller and it's a great idea, but it didn't fit my F800, so I sold it.

For the marshalling group I belong to we are using some two-way radio software for mobiles in conjunction with a BT PTT button so that solves my original problem.

Hi Mike
Maybe don't write it off just yet - 40 hours would most likely be a weeks riding so you'd only need a spare set of batteries in your pocket and they're cheap enough - 100 for £3.99 on Fleabay. If you want to use it for everyday riding then it's going to get to be a nuisance fast but just for the odd day or your week / fortnight cruising off somewhere warm & sunny is that so bad ?

I've tried riding with music and for me it's too distracting, that and I like to explore the wilderness that is my brain seeing what thoughts bubble up from the murky depths while the geography slides by

I hope you find a solution

Sena does a very user-friendly and practical remote control. See
http://www.sena.com/product/10r/

I believe you can buy it as a separate device. I.e. Without the audio system, if you wish.

I phone headphones work well as they have all the functions built into the cable.
