Top Box

Post by JenP »

Hi all, I have an F650GS and am looking for a good quality top box for it - don't mind whether it's BMW branded or not, but really want aluminium, sturdy, probably around 40litres.

Any advice on what makes to look out for or avoid, been trawling through the internet and eBay but it's so hard to gauge online and no stockists anywhere close to home.......

I too have an F650GS, not sure what yours is but mine's a 2004 single.

Anyway, I've been looking at Givi.

Cheapest top box I can find.

You'll need one of these too if your bike is like mine.

This is the BMW top box I have, albeit in better nick than this one.

Of course if you have a later F650GS then the BMW top box will be different as will the Givi mounting plate.

Thanks for that, yes I should have said it's a 2010 model, the twin.

Your first link looks just the sort of thing I was thinking of, as long as it's sturdy and well made it would be perfect

Then it looks like you need this plate to fix the box to the bike.
