The sad thing is that the majority of voters will do as they're told by their newspaper of choice and the political party they think suits them best. Will they waste a day looking into what each option actually offers them? Not a chance in hell.
Rupert Murdoch will be one of the biggest influences on this vote and whatever he decides he wants will probably happen then the result will be announced on Sky News.
EU Membership Key Demands
Re: EU Membership Key Demands
Didn't think I would read this kind of racist dribble on this site. I am always surprised when I see this on biker sites.

You cannot even spell his name right! Misguided at best, a plonker at worst!

I don't mean to pry, but why did you ay £5,000 for medical treatment in Spain when healthcare is free here?Nigel wrote:I had an EHI card when I had an accident in Spain, still got a bill for £5,000+ but then I had travel insurance anyway  cost me about £80 last year for volunteer insurance to work in Peru for a month so being covered for accidents in the EU is a high price to pay to stay in, as for bike insurance mine wouldn't cover me if I broke down so I would be taking that out anyway.
There is a reason this country is an island  I love travelling to different countries because they are different (thumbs) if the EU carries on the way it is we will all be the same

Re: EU Membership Key Demands
the EU will not allow UK to leave, look how much cash they keep throwing at Greece just to keep them in. Once a country leave the stack of cards will start falling, it was meant to be a "common market" not a United Europe, we haven't got a United Kingdom so how do they expect a EU ?

Re: EU Membership Key Demands
It's too big a deal not to IMO. You'd be surprised how many people have got interested in politics in the last few years and are prepared to do some digging and reading. Still a minority though I agree. The good thing is having invested some time those people will turn up at the polls. Those who let the newspaper decide often can't be bothered on the day.AndyB wrote:The sad thing is that the majority of voters will do as they're told by their newspaper of choice and the political party they think suits them best. I think more dangerous are the dyed in the wool people who have already made thier mind up when we don't know what we are voting for yet.
