Welcome too.
Seems the GS has everything, even an on/off wife switch....Always wondered why they were so popular...

Hello, Beemer now has 200 miles on the ODO.
Enjoyed a great ride around back roads of Northumberland yesterday evening.
This bike is amazing and im still just breaking it in.
I think once run in this could be a serious wheelie machine haha
Ok my other bikes - mainly what I could just fix up and ride, I was in the trade, had my own business fixing bikes - don't do it anymore - now an employee.
What I have left are, 1989 BMW R100 project bike, 1981 Moto Guzzi V50 mk2, Kawasaki GPZ 900R Top Gun Project bike, 1981 Honda CB900F - complete Shed that needs a miracle to save, 1955 Francis Barnett Cruiser, wifes bike - Honda VT125 cruiser.

Hi All,
Just had a quick scan of Ebay to find some add ons, guards etc for the 1200 LC,
I found a guard for the clocks and though cynically that this is just gimmick guard and will look good - OH no its not looks like a required guard, I got the clocks off in 1 minute flat mmm.....
seems like some other owners have had there clocks nicked.
shocking that a bike of this quality can come with a flaw like this - BMW this is not good.
I will be on the phone tomorrow to see if I can disconnect the clocks safely.
