The paintwork on that Moggie Panda seems to be frosted.... I assume that is a photographic effect... how did you create that ?macvisual wrote:In the good old days;

If you double click on the image you can view it closer up, it's not an effect, it's actually rain sitting on the car. I haven't over sharpened the image, this is a standard capture shot using a Sigma DP1 Merrill.

When i see your amazing photos on this thread I keep thinking about buying a decent camera, as I'm always disappointed with the crap results I get from the compacts I use, with their crappy small sensors.... unfortunately I cant buy the expertise or the talent to use a decent camera
