I hope the instrument screen is easier to read than on my S1000R. Its dull khaki / grey-green (it's impossible to tell what colour it is meant to be) is all but useless... So I don't bother looking at it.

Great fun bike, even so. Chuck Ventura luggage on and away you go.

I much prefer the inline four with the S1000 motor

Was checking one of these out at a dealer yesterday, they look very nice in the flesh!

I took one out for a test ride back to back with the S1000R and it was great fun to ride but I only took the test ride to see what the engine pulled like with one eye on the R1200RS when they're released.

I liked it but nowhere near enough to buy one though I still want to try out the 1200RS because I think the ride position will be much better for the type of riding I do.

Really liked the look of this bike and sat on it at the bike show in feb, now I love it! :woohoo:
