Hi,just picked up the details of your ride. I am new to ABR, have done a couple of days off-road training and completed a trip with Black Desert in the Brecon Beacons their 8 day "Coast to Coast" run, and a day with the TRF via Freestyle - local lanes around Crowborough and Hailsham.
So I have some experience but a lot to learn !
I would like to join you guys but don't want to spoil your fun as a novice rider tagging along.
I have been riding a BMW650 Sertao but this is a bit heavy for the current muddy conditions, so recently purchased a Honda CRF 250l this is bog standard with factory fitted Knobblies ?
So do you have room for one more? if it isn't working and I am spoiling your day I would be prepared to drop out at any stage.
Let me know.
Cheers. Bob

Sounds like you've got plenty of experience to me Bob, more like us slowing you down, lol.

Look forward to riding with you. (thumbs)

You won't be slowing Si down, the more people he can get to pick his Tiger up the better...

Cheers mate ;)

There will be 2 groups running now, if everyone turns up then we have 14 of us.

Guess what! I am leading off the slower group....... and Dave Whiteoak will lead off the faster KTM group.

Everyone welcome.

Shame there's a date clash, I'm leading a TRF ride on the Sunday, but aim to get over to your manor in the near future (thumbs)
The Kent TRF came over to us last weekend ( 4 groups ) and all had fun (thumbs) so if your group wants a ride out over this way just shout, looking forward to the Kent meet (thumbs)

I wouldn't mind tagging along if there's a spare place.
I ride an Africa Twin so happy plodding along at a sensible pace, I've not been over to Kent before so it's new territory for me.
Do you think that the byways would be OK on a heavy old thing like mine at the mo or a bit dodgy? I've got loads of off road experience but still very respectful when its as soggy as it is now.

Yep guys all welcome, gonna now be 2 groups as the numbers are right up. A smaller fast group of dirt bike, you know the type KTM'S, DR'S and then a bigger adventure bike group. Me etc etc.

We will do the same route, which is about 80miles, expect it to be dirty, hard work, but bloody good fun, they always are.

All the details are on the FB link on the 1st post, and access to the .gpx is via the files menu on the FB group.

PS.... the way we run rideouts, is on the line of a TRF rideout, no mad speeds no cutting up the place and no riding like a dick.

Bring a camera, gonna be a lot of photo opportunities as there are a lot of bikes. There will be a lot of dirt and mud everywhere as well. (thumbs)
