Anyone thinking of taking part on the road book events and cant make the Rally experience weekend on the 31st Jan. I was thinking of going out on the following weekend 7/8th Feb, in mid wales for some road book training for myself. So if anyone wanted to join me for a relaxed day out on the hills then be glad for the company. I can make a road book up for the day for people if needs be

I'm really interested in doing one of these events in the "Adventure bike class" pending if my shoulder will heal well enough, if not next year the year after.
Barring the bike what else do you need? I know nothing about these kind of events, do you use a GPS? Do you have to use a road book? How long are they? Do you need an ACU license? Can you be a fat bloke?
Seriously, I know nothing but would love to have a go, I need a goal now the prosthetic has been fitted.
