On the drive down to Wales yesterday I found myself in the middle of a Scooter Rally. I reckon there must have been close on 500 of them with lots of mods in their Parkers with The Who symbols on the back. It was a very impressive turnout and a fine sight to see.
What got me though was how many of the scoots were breaking down at the side of the road; they were dropping like flys. From what I saw, they'd have been lucky to have half of the 500 turn up at the final meeting point.
Scooters - okay for looking at!

They hold an scooter rally on my wee island every year , some of them are very nicely customised. All are painfully slow , but smell wonderful. Never any trouble at the event. In my capacity as part time Ambulanceman , I was called out once, to a chap who had split his head - pogoing at a dance !!!
