I could go with 2 per year as well - exceeded expectations by a long chalk (!), I'll follow Si around next year, perhaps a bit more mud and less dust - it got everywhere! (thumbs)
Re: Salisbury Plain Rally - so how was it for you
Well if we have in in late May we wil still have lots of mud about.
So you lot now know i wasn't mad when i said the Plain was a fab place to ride and to learn how to ride offroad. There really is something for everybody there.

That was my second trip to Salisbury this year. I'll be looking to head there in late spring next year I reckon and obviously for the rally
And now, Harry, let us step out into the night and pursue that flighty temptress, adventure.

Thank you all. I really needed a weekend away, and this was perfect. I didn't do the long off road rides, but I had a little play at my own pace, and enjoyed it all. Having a group to follow for the first bit gave me that tiny bit of confidence needed to go off tarmac for the first time. I do however know my limits, so didn't stay with the group for long. Everyone, and it really was everyone, made me feel 100% welcome. Fantastic, couldn't have asked for a better weekend.
So a big thank you.
