Hello from North Cambs/Norfolk Area

Post by Angel »

Hi All,
Just joined the forum, hoping to get to the Salisbury plain do later this year. Run lots of different bikes, but this type of riding is new to me, so hoping the Salisbury plains will give me a little space to play safely. Just ordered some TKC 80 tyres for the bike to give me a fighting chance of staying upright. Currently it has Conti Attack, which are very much for the road. Time permitting, see some of you later in the year.

Jawa 660 Sportard. supplied very much as a back lane point and squirt/gentle tourer road bike, and great for this. But very easily modified to a soft adventure bike as TKCs come in wide low profile sizes. 170/60 17 rear and 120/70 17 front, It's going look great (In my opinion). I've seen some great reviews of these tyres, so I hoping it doesn't ruin the excellent road manners it has on the standard supplied conti attacks. We will see.
