Re: kevlar jeans.
I used to have a pair of the red route jeans, very soft and comfortable but just couldn't get my head round wearing them on the bike, I know they are good but just didn't feel right

I've had a few different makes of Kevlar jeans and favour my Red Route pair, I wear them all year round, so comfy.
My husband went down the road in his Triumph jeans and the only damage was a tear on the pocket and no abrasions on him.

There was a test in the ABR Mag a while ago, might be worth digging back or getting a back issue.

I've a pair of Held jeans, very comfy and not too expensive. Bought from Get Geared in Leeds, also bought stuff from them online and always got a good service.
