Norway: how to get to?

The Immingham route is fine for one bike because they'll always squeeze one on the ferry somewhere but a group might be a bit more tricky. It's a gamble that could wreck your holiday if it goes wrong.

I have a mate works in Oslo,he has caught that one a few times.

Any chance of asking your mate for any words of wisdom on the approach to this option?, did he just turn up/pre-book etc? I acknowledge there is a risk on 'relying' upon this type of service, but our group may just be two or three this year. thanks

Started looking into a trip to Norway myself, best way I reckon is Holland, Germany up through Denmark to Hirtshals for the ferry to Norway which is only around 35 euros for 1 plus bike each way.

Remind me about that in germany. My brother lives in Hamburg now which makes a decent stop over place unless you planning big mile days up front.
