Norway: how to get to?
Re: Norway: how to get to?
The Immingham route is fine for one bike because they'll always squeeze one on the ferry somewhere but a group might be a bit more tricky. It's a gamble that could wreck your holiday if it goes wrong.

Any chance of asking your mate for any words of wisdom on the approach to this option?, did he just turn up/pre-book etc? I acknowledge there is a risk on 'relying' upon this type of service, but our group may just be two or three this year. thankstrophydave wrote:I have a mate works in Oslo,he has caught that one a few times.spot wrote:I've not rang them yet

Remind me about that in germany. My brother lives in Hamburg now which makes a decent stop over place unless you planning big mile days up front.outrunner wrote:Started looking into a trip to Norway myself, best way I reckon is Holland, Germany up through Denmark to Hirtshals for the ferry to Norway which is only around 35 euros for 1 plus bike each way.
