What's the best way to protect a new bike from corrosion etc.
I won't be riding in the wet intentionally but still want to protect the bike from other road shite.
ACF50 or WD40? Does ACF50 really last all year? What's wrong with WD40 applied weekly?
What about cables, nipples etc? Some kind of grease?
Thanks.

ACF50 is the best ok the best comes at a price, but thats says it all to me, i tried the scottoiler fs365 i found it made dirt stick to the bike more.
i only use ACF50 its awesome stuff, warm it up first to make it thinner to apply, get a good vapourizing spray bottle. and your away. theres no price on keeping your bike nice

I use ACF50 on the hard to reach parts and fs365 everywhere else

ACF50 - get it done before it leaves the showroom (thumbs)

ACF50 every time. If you can find someone with a compressor and a paraffin gun then go round and use that to spray it on because you get a much more even coverage.
Failing that buy one of the pump dispensers rather than using an aerosol. You'll find every possible way to avoid wasting it has been discussed on here countless times because it's so expensive.

ACF50, apply a fine mist and use a clean paint brush, you would be surprised how long it lasts on a brush and you can apply a fine film. Balderstons soaked my bike in it before I picked it up and warned me the engine would smoke for a bit
Even if you don`t ride on salty roads it seeps into places you would never be able to reach.
