A mate of mine had a 350 Beta when we did the Stella a couple of yrs ago, it was fine for almost two weeks but on the 2nd last stop two of the poles snapped. No obvious reason, put the tent up and around 15 mins later we heard the 1st snap, sitting having a beer we heard the next one go snap a few mins later. I wonder if it was down to how Andy had strapped his tent on to the bike? maybe the bungees had split or weakened the GRP? As my Vango suffered from a broken pole due to horrendous wind then Andy's snapping for no apparent reason I changed to the Gelert Tornado. Survived gale force winds last season so recommended! (That and £29.99 price tag!)
