Yep, they work surprisingly well. Cheap and effective.
Some people are alive simply because its illegal to kill them....

One note of caution, these things are pretty fragile. I can imagine if they were bouncing round in a pannier all day they would be broken before dinner.

Just buy a can of pop or beer and make another :laugh: .... I had to get more cans of beer as my stove broke.

Cracking bits of kit. I use mine in preferance to the multifuel stove in the winter mountains while bivvying. The great thing is nothing to go wrong. I make mine no more than about an inch and a half tall then they remain robust. Coke can is still my favourite design with 12 hole plus a centre one for filling...drop a penny over the centre when burning for a more 'hob' like flame.
