XJ 600 Pre Diversion Ignition Issues

Post by coasty »

After some helpfull advice on my ad I have delved a bit further and removed the generator cover. Everything was a little corroded in there. I have given it a clean up but still no spark. To me this pickup looks knackered. .. would this in itself stop a spark. I have cleaned up the generator coil, I assume not too much can go wrong with this.

Have you tried here:http://www.electrexworld.co.uk/

They may not have one listed, but they might be able to suggest something compatible.
