Given the time we have and the time of year and the predicted weather...what single thing would you do in and around Ullapool on this Saturday furing the day. What is the best thing i can do or see while i'm there?

If you like your wildlife you could take a boat trip to the Summer Isles.You will see seals and possibly dolphins,porpoises.I don't know if it's too late in the year for basking sharks,but orca have been seen around the north coast just now and there are sea eagles in the area.Booking is essential though.

Yeah the weather has been changing all week on the long range forecasts ..

But I would urge to take your best warmest sleeping bags / liners etc .
It's been getting quite cool at nights ..

Nothing worse than getting cold during the night (lesson learnt by me)

Edit: Be good to see you Kenbo .. I will be the one trying to remember everyones names (and failing badly) ..
