Hi,

I think I'm going to B&B during the trip, currently looking for a few biker freindly ones to book along the way. If this doesn't look like its going to work out then I can resort to buying a single tent and booking pitches along the way or wild camping.

Agree with all the above, did the Raiders road the Saturday before last along with a lot of rally cars (Scottish Rally was on) definitely recommend the Leadhills/Wanlochead road but also recommend the Dalveen Pass just south off that road. This whole area around New Galloway warrants a weekend on its own. Happy travels
