Thank you Simon and Polly. Freddy and I made it to Santander by hook and crook. We did cross from Sabada to Arguedas. Freddy did not fancy it until I could demonstrate on my phone that there really was a route across. He then enjoyed it immensely. Would not have enjoyed it in the wet...one very chalky track. We also reached Soria though only the following morning for coffee. Lovely roads after that all the way. Thank you. Sun shone but it was still cold.
Here at sea it has been a lovely sunny day. Hope it stays good as i shall not be home till after midnight.
Great to see all you beastie boys and cannot believe Guy knows Katia. Satellite internet no good for photos...

Hi Nina,

I'm really glad your route worked out well - I was worried you'd have strong winds through the Las Bardenas - such a fantastic landscape, you'll make an Adventurer out of Freddie yet :) Glad to know too that you made your ferry!

Meanwhile, ) have loads of video footage and some fabulous images, so I'm planning a 'serious' youtube effort. But what I haven't got is time - so don't hold your breath :(

Hi,

I've been really busy preparing for the Autumn HISS recce - I'm off to Teruel tomorrow to brave the coldest place in Spain, just 2º yesterday morning!

But while I was packing the bike in land cruiser format - I'll be at a base camp for ten days or so . . .

I managed to upload Phil's favoutrite video onto Youtube:

I don't know when I'll have time for the full soundtrack edited version, but if anyone has 'ace' images they'd like to have included just send me the files by email.

Ah, the famous 'double off' vid. I wanted to see that again. Thanks to Dave P and Guy for some great entertainment.

I'm already missing those mountain trails. It was a memorable week.

If you're reading this GUY, send me a PM with your e-mail address - I don't want to lose touch...
