Subscribed threads

Post by scurrell »

Never used this particular forum software before, but one thing is bugging me:

Is there a way to set your preferences so that you aren't automatically subscribed to a thread when you post?

It's certainly possible on other forum software, but I can't find an option here.

There is a tick box when replying to a thread, if you untick , its set as default to subscribe ,. maybe Alun can default to NOT subcribe , or quick reply does not subscribe you.

Anyways , I either use quick reply or untick the subscribe box

But if I forget then I get heaps of emails, I get enough already.

LWR is spot on there's a tick box to give you an out. I'll check in the admin area today about other options.
