I'm selling this great little tent.
It has now been replaced by the Laser Competition 1 but was called the Laser Lite.
It erects as one birth both the inner and outer going up as one piece and uses only one pole and several carbon pegs. I've used it a few times on the bike and there is enough space in the porch for some kit and its big enough inside for one person and your jacket etc but not much else.
Weight wise, it's just over 1kg. A great little tent if space is at a minimum.
£75 or if bought at the Ace Cafe tomorrow, £50 and a cuppa B)

It was about a foot to start with but overnight it got quite deep.Heff wrote:How deep was the snow and where were you?

It was at the Les Marmottes rally, which is held in the highest village in the French Alps, St. Veran over the first weekend of January every year.

Now that is cool. I am busy planning to do the Tauerntreffen next year with a mate of mine but that looks brilliant. Would you be able to give us a bit more info on that. Do you have to book or is it just a "show up"rally. I found your other reports on adv and ktm forum but unfortunately none of your pics are showing.
Cheers Pete

There isn't much info' on the net about this rally, it also seems to be a very French affair but saying that, I was made to feel very welcome.
At the time I was a regular on ADVRider and a guy posted about it, I thought to myself, "why not" and 2 days later I was on the ferry. You don't have to book, you just turn up and pay your rally fee (for camping) and you also need to book a place for the evening meal in the hotel at the top of the hill. In a very French way it's very relaxed and a very fun weekend.
I went on my KTM 640 Adv, with nothing more than TKC's on it.
The only problem I had was getting out of the Alps on the Sunday afternoon after all the snow the night before, but when the roads were open, they were safe to ride on.
Hope that helps?
Cheers
Mark
