1st ride of the year on the 1st. A ride to the highest waterfall in England and Wales at 240 feet.
the start of the day did not bode well, the washing machine decided to take a dump on the kitchen floor So I did not manage to get out until midday and had to be back by 4pm. So I decided not to plan things and go with the flow.
I headed to Shropshire and through Bridgnorth
This is not the best shot of Bridgo but I had limited time and decided to ride and not take to many photo's. So on through to Much Wenlock (the home of the modern olympic movement) and the Shrewsbury bypass A5.
I dived into Knockin and stopped off at the "Knockin shop"
Whilst I was there someone came out of said establishment and did not look to happy about being photo'd
So on through some great scenery to the waterfall, when I got there I was told by a local the water level was falling and the water was clearing up.
I had a great sheppards pie and then had to leg it back as I was running very short on time, I had to be back for a 4pm appointment, so it was a blast back along the A5 and through Bridgo . All in all not a bad afternoon
cheers Spud

Cheers Alun, got it just about where I want it now, waiting for a pair of running lights to be put on then job done, well till the suspension wants fettling. But I would rather spend my money touring hence why I have not even looked at the new kid on the block. cheers Spud

Would you be happy having your photo taken, as you were coming out of a Knockin shop?  :laugh:Redmurty wrote:1st ride of the year on the 1st. A ride to the highest waterfall in England and Wales at 240 feet.

Adventure motorcycling is a challenge for those who go but only a dream for those who stay behind.
