Hi Dave,

Save going round in circles on this I would suggest waiting to see if a Sunday 26th ride comes into life.

Either way I will drop it with you on Friday 24th and you can head off on a cross country ride on the Saturday, it's much more in the spirit of ABRing than a city ride.
If there is no Sunday ride, then Paul will collect it from you on his way to the HUBB on Friday 31st. If there is a Sunday ride, we'll just need to work out how to get it from you to the mystery Sunday rider.

Time will tell and it'll all sort itself out, hopefully....

Hi all

Here are our rough plans for the Scotland leg. Please do not think that this is 'our ride', we'd love anyone to join us anywhere along the way. Our rough schedule is;

Well head up from London but won't officially be on the relay then. The 'official' leg of the relay starts when we collect the baton from Paul in Cumbria, after Milshy brings it back from Ireland.

On the 14th May we'll head north from Cumbria towards Scotland. Over the next few days we intend to head north, sticking as much to the scenic west coast as poss. Loch Lomond, Oban, Fort William, Loch Ness eastern side on that little road + the corkscrew?? Then arrive at Inverness on Friday 17th. We'll then meet up with BBJohn and others ??? to do a weekend loop up to JOG on the 18th & 19th. We'll then be heading south from Inverness on Mon 20th via Cairngorms and maybe Edinburgh, not sure yet. Can anyone join us or give us any tips?

Our official ride will end around the 23rd when we hand the baton to Dave DRZ for his Yorkshire/Manchester extravaganza on the 25th. We still need a ride organised on the 26th, I'm suggesting Manchester to Kendal & back?? Any takers??

Hope that all makes sense?

Cheers

Sounds like a great idea to me and personal as wife has just be moved up to 6 monthly checks at hospital.
Got a few mates we could cover Derbyshire and Staffordshire if that would help.
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi mate

Sunday 26th May any good to ya? Collect/pick up baton from Manchester area in the morning and ride wherever you want that day. Baton would be collected from you by a rider heading to Donnington HUBB meet from Cumbria. How about it?

Cheers

So, the website for the ride has been updated. We've added our new logo on the main page and also picked up 2 more sponsors!

Scottoiler have come to the party with a great chain oiler to raffle off and my mates at Keyboard Group are going to produce our stickers for free! :) :) :)

Top effort guys THANK YOU. Please take the time to have a quick look at the website, especially the 'Just Giving' page!!!!!! ;)
