Re: WANTED - 640 Adventure
Thanks for the welcome.
I looked at 690's (that one included) but by the time i've added the Rally Raid Products tanks and fairings to make it into the bike I want, i'm in it for probably another £2k over the cost of the bike.
Insurance also comes out higher for the 690 as well. Which given that immediately after my last 640 was stolen (about 14 months ago) I was quoted over £11k to insure another one is something of an issue.
Daryl.

What sort of age condition are you looking for Daryl and what do you intend to use it for

Re: WANTED - 640 Adventure
The one that got stolen was a 2005 with about 24,000 miles on it, in pretty good condition and with a set of the KTM luggage (also stolen), so ideally I'd like something similar.
Use wise it's a mix of commuting, green lanes, buggering about at weekends and (hopefully) longer trips.
I saw that one as well, but don't really need all of the rally stuff plus the insurance issue is proving a pain, and anything that's modified too far from standard is going to make it impossible (another issue with building a 690 Adventure)
There's one on autotrader at the minute that I think i'm going to have to go and have a look at, but i'm not sure if the price is right on it. The insurance only gave me £4k and i'd like to try and not go too much higher than that if possible.
