I bought a Thermarest 3/4 length self inflating matt. Excellent and very well insulated from the ground - compact as ell...size of a pint glass.

Considered the Exped matts as I got exped dry bags for the panniers which at the time doubled up as pumps...36L pumps! Only needed 2 fills apparently. Cost stopped me though.

Need another for a trip this year so might be looking at that Vango Adventure...also seen the ones on Alpkit, recommended on this thread...very good value too.
