Rally Location No16 (Exmoor)
Thought I'd get to be the first, but it looks like 77 Adam (sparks) has pipped me to the post. Trundled off around Exmoor today, roads were pretty bad though, covered in gravel and mud almost everywhere I went (who said they've closed all the off-road tracks in Somerset?) Ended up in Dulverton to grab the pic for location No16. Just 19 more to do – this shouldn't take too long
In June this year I undertook the whole Nature Rally in one trip, in aid of Riders for Health

Re: Rally Location No16 (Exmoor)
Exmoor is a really small place mate
Actually I was quite surprised when I worked out where the visitors centre was. Always thought of Exmoor as being the open moorland bit between Minehead and Barnstaple, when you look at a map of it Dulverton is right at the very bottom and it's mostly wooded valleys around there. Pretty though, and well worth a visit.

Good effort Lee
Some of the info centres are on the fringe or in the town next to the parks and forests for the photo. You then get to play around on the twisty roads and take in the sights. Hope you are having fun with the Rally mate

Rally Location No17 (Dartmoor)
I decided to brave the sub-zero (well zero anyway) temperatures today, and tick off another location on the ABR rally.
Have to confess I hadn't really thought through the consequences of riding 160 miles without heated grips – and on reflection perhaps it would have been better to wait until the weather picked up a few degrees.
Still, it's a lovely ride down across the corner of Exmoor to Okehampton, then Down the edge of Dartmoor to Tavistock – turn left at Tavi and that road takes you pretty much straight to Princetown over the open moor with los of sheep for company – and with an enforced 40mph you can take it easy and soak up the views (there's enough blind bends and crests up there to keep you on your toes even at that speed).
A stop in the Plume of Feathers pub which can be seen in background of photo with red sign – a lovely pub, very welcoming and has a campsite out the back if anyone's planning a longer trip down to Dartmoor. Then home across the moors via Two Bridges and Post Bridge to Exeter.
Lovely (and cold)
