Ray, when and via what route are you heading for Ullapool?raymo wrote: . . . . will not be able to make the early part of this trip, will see you in Ullapool...
Craig is planning to be at mine for around 11am on Thursday, if you fancy forming a convoy  !
PS - check the A944 for diversions - saw them posted yesterday - road east of Strathdon is signed as being closed

It was interesting enough fighting the Frankathon over the slimy sections of the old Skye road:-)Steve T wrote:Aceraymo wrote: Thanks Steve will try and hook-up with you guys 11am Thursdays that would be good

Adventure ride on the way to Ullapool.
Quick update while I have some wifi......
This trip has been epic. A combination of the weather and the stunning scenery has made this the best trip ever. So far three bikes have been dropped, two on the track to the northern edge of Jura and one in the 10' swell on the little ferry to Jura, despite us all sitting on the bikes to try and hold them down.
Corrieveckan whirlpool was rather calm but is an epic location and worth the 3 mile hike, even in bike boots and leathers. Wild camping on a beach on Jura was washed down with 2 bottles of Jura's finest . Phil even went for a swim first thing.
Next is a ferry back to the mainland and a stopover before heading for Ullapool on Friday.
Cheers.
