Loggys New Bike.

Post by Loggy »

Hello Ladies and Gentlemen.

I have finally got round to taking some pictures of my new bike, the Honda Africa Twin. She isn't a bad looking bike considering she has done 52,000 miles and 12 years old.

Hi mate..looks nice especially those black wheels..

not sure if its the pic angle but that chain looks tight for a Honda xrv..especially as its on the side stand and you`ve never owned one before..

They should be real slack..and after the first 500mls it will stretch a bit then nothing till its due for renewal..

My RD04's got black wheels as well, looks good. Your RD07's looking well mate. You'll get loads of fun out of it!
On the chain front, I know you've adjusted it to 40mm on the stand but I'd try with someone on the bike just to be sure it's not nipping. Tramps right to be cautious, those output shafts are a real expense to fix.
Honda, the power of dreams.

Lovely bike, why they stopped making those is beyond me.

Thanks guys.

Yeah, I'm going out to have another look at the chain later this morning. I'll take another picture and see what you think. It seems very slack on the stand, but will have another look at it. Thanks. :)
