Travel insurance; any recommendations?

Post by Corners R Us »

So its 3-weeks this Friday until I'll be on the boat out of Portsmouth with my biking buddies destined for Santander and 10-days in the Picos region of Spain. I'm looking for recommendations for some travel insurance that covers bikes over 125cc and repatriation in case we have too much fun and things go wrong!

I have Europe wide insurance and breakdown cover so that aspects errr covered! Just need some personal travel insurance, more for peace of mind than owt else.

Any pointers appreciated.

Try this:

I used them whilst trawling around to find the best package and price for a trip I took to Norway last year.

Navigator Travel - but you need to get their gold policy for cover on big bikes.

Just been trawlling around again for a long weekend in Europe and found these which might be of use.

This one give the option of dropping the baggage (my luggage is attached to my bike and not travelling separately from me) and cancellation cover (I am not travelling be air so why pay for something I don't need?) which is a bonus to reduce the cost:

This one also covers some of your kit and also by selecting the 'Last Minute Single Trip' option, drops the cancellation cover.
