It's somewhere to put all those country stickers you're supposed to have ridden to and through LOL
. I've got a full set, never put the side panniers on unless there stuff in em ;-)

Works laptop in the left and gym gear in the right. But if anyone asks I've just come back from Mongolia.

For the original purpose I brought mine, somewhere for me and the Mrs to put lids and jackets when we got to where we were going.

I used to think it was just for looks, but now living in London I reckon it's for the same reason people with Chelsea tractors drive around with roof boxes on all the time, there's nowhere else to put them.

Its because their bikes dont use enough fuel, so with boxes on they loose 5mpg maybe..
