Any one for some off roading on Sunday

So, I got the bike (F800GS)last week went out for a road ride on Sunday to get a feel for it...Love it!

I've put in the shop this morning to get new chain, sprockets and knobby tyres...ready to hit the dirt again...

Problem is I live in central London and don't know where there are any trails etc with in easy enough reach...Any one fancy showing me some trails around there way/my way this Sunday? Happy to ride an hour or 2 to get there...

First choice would be around dorking through the azcari shop there but the olympics might make that trick

Thetford forest is good, hampshire trails are good, salisbury plain, or hertfordshire

Not sure who is out this weekend though

Would love to go out on Sunday and show you a few trails. As said dorking is real good. Get a OS Map and have a look around the dorking, some nice trails and you got rykas for food and drink.
But if I go out Sunday for a few trails I will be dead Sunday evening as my daughter is getting married Monday and apparently we still got "things" to do

The other option might be out into the Chilterns, I've still got the track for the novices green lanes ride from May. I can't do this weekend as I'm off riding this Saturday, but I'd be up for a trip out after the Olympics.

Try asking azcari in dorking to see if they have a guided ride?

Oh so tempting but I must resist. If I rock up at the wedding with a broken arm I am dead meat :unsure:

If you fancy a ride on Sunday morning I'd be happy to take you round some of the Hertfordshire Lanes.

I pick up my 990 Adventure on Saturday so will be itching to go out and play.

What tyres are you getting as i'll still be on the stock tyres?

Not that it will be a problem as most of the lanes are generally well surfaced and no problem on a F800GS (even on trailwings, as you can see)...

Yep I'm keen...let me know time and place...

I got Continental TKC80s, they were supposed to go on yesterday, shop to busy, should have been today, wrong tyres turned up! ready tomorrow I hope...I'm off to track day at Rockingham Friday and leaving tomorrow afternoon so I want to collect before then...
