any tips please
hi im heading up north on tes wild camping,on the beach.i was thinking of taking a fishing rod,and try to catch some mackerel,any tips.as it,s years since i did any fishing.cheers al

We catch mackerel off the rocks down here (Cornwall) using plugs and spinners. Best all purpose lure is a Dexter Wedge, in a weight to suit your rod.

Up around Moray you can catch from the jetty, but just remember rod in one hand and the frying pan in the other :laugh:
