Hi Guys..
anyone any input on these..

I really like the idea of a internal sun visor ..do you think the build quality will be good? and how much lift will the peak generate on the motorways at sensible speeds.
Ta all.

Re: Acerbis new style helmet..dual sport
I have the Airoh S4 which is similar money, but doesn't have the internal sun visor (which I think would be handy, having had one on a Caberg).

Pretty noisey at motorway speeds, but haven't found the peak too much of an issue (until the lugs came out and it moved further up the lid!). Fogs up badly and need to keep visor sightly open, but guess that's always the case with the cheaper lids. Seem to have Arai Tour X3 on sale, but still upwards double the cost of these! Might be worth the spend as hopefully getting new bike (gs800) and planning to use for daily commute.

I wouldn't buy it...it's black, matt black, and will get unbearably hot in sunshine.
White/light helmets far better.

Re: Acerbis new style helmet..dual sport
I bought one and I'm really happy with it. To me the dual visor was a big plus as I have to wear glasses and the flip down tint saves any messing swopping specs etc...
Haven't rode in it yet as Im waiting to do my test but I have sat in my front room with it one doing my best thumper impression
Fits nice, build quality looks good, buckle is nice... happy with it
Good price as well
If you want to look at any specifics happy to snap some detail shots for you if it helps

Re: Acerbis new style helmet..dual sport
is it heavy? i find cheaper helmets (especially enduro) are quite heavy.
looked at a Spada one the other day and when i picked it up it felt like it was made of lead! mind you, i am used to a Sheoi XR1100.

FFS! if you read the text next to the pictures is tells you how heavy it is:
Weight: 1.6 KG +/- 50gr
So yes, its one cheap and heavy helmet.
Yes Tramp, it is a little bit heavier than our Nolan helmets.

Re: Acerbis new style helmet..dual sport
about 200g heavier than Airoh S4, so not much in it from that point of view
