Nice one Phil, our marquee should just about squeeze in there B)

Just got travel insurance for £9 here travelinsurancebooking.co.uk covers £10M of medical and repatriation (just thinking about that helicopter really). Hang about dont we have a coptor pilot on the roster?

KTM has an oil leak from left engine casing, do I fix and risk something going wrong or risk it?

See you all soon, and don't worry Simon we are definitely coming all the way :)

You'll all be jealous*!

Meanwhile, my new chain has arrived - two b*****y weeks late only to be supplied with a rivet link as opposed to a clip - so I'm banjanxed until I get access to a chain tool :( :( :(

Oh yea thats a good value Splitter / Riveter.
Personaly I never rivet up, I always use split links so only use a lightweight splitter which doesn't do rivetting.
I'm bringing one with me if anybody needs to use it.

Hi Brian - a very special welcome awaits you getting stuck straight into the chain grease - not!

Little by liuttle I'm becoming an ABR withoiit having to leave my frint door; when I was a nipper chains were held together with clips that you had to remember to fit the right way round, in closed end facing the engine as it were. A lesson we all learned - once! - in particular my mate Al, now in charge of a Disyrict General Hospital A&E unit, he had a beautiful Royal Enfield Continental GT* and forgot - oh how we laughed!

Didn't Tramp say he was bringing a splitter / riveter? if not I have a riveter I can pack, another kilo will be fine :) Bringing a spare chain afterall...

Just cut the old one off, splitters are a waste of time, grind the rivet ends down, screw driver in the back and heave, job done. Can be done with a dremmel, angle grinder or file.
