The Civil Guard are prety strict, but if you play the LIGHTS ON, MIRRORS & SLOW THROUGH THE VILLAGES IN TIME WITH THE TRAFFIC LIGHTS GAME. (In other words the bleeding obvious that any fool can see)they'll leave you alone when you're howling through the open country side. Not guaranteed but this is what i've found.

Arse. I don't quite know what you mean by clip on, don't suppose you have a link? I do have an old mirror somewhere but they are f.ing useless and unwind so I am not putting it on. The clip on, useless but legal sounds good!

I wonder if I broke any laws last year, did Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Norway all with no mirrors?!

To my knowledge flashing indicators are not compulsory because there's an alternative--HAND SIGNALS--.
On the subject of MIRRORS. Good mirrors can give the rider enhanced SPATIAL AWARENESS alowing faster & safer riding. If you'r riding with you'r mates in groups of 6 what better than to know where everybody is at a glance. You can then keep in your own space & move any which way without taking somebody out with you during an emergency manouver.
Try a quality pair sometime, a quick glance is safer than turning your head to both sides to check for other traffic.
Just a personal opinion for what it's worth. I hate riding without them.

Yep Rhys..seems so thought you had one on...I only remove mine because the right Honda ones are mounted to brake master cyclinder and these brake easily in a fall..

I wonder how many Tourists coming to uk check our regulations..?
