with the shadow getting longer and longer, arrive to

10 Peak District National Park

got to the place by accident, as my sat nav wanted me to go much further, and did not find any big, fancy sign, to take a photo next to :(

p.s. what a joy to ride those 10 miles to the park - fast (within new speed limit  ) , twisty road + untouched mountain valleys...

Hats off to you V King, first to 10 locations – honestly thought Sparks had that one in the bag. Congrats mate.

How long did this lot take you?? Was it all just this weekend, if so that's some mileage per day – makes me think I've underestimated for my June trip :-)

hello, thanx for replies.

the weather forecast was good, i was free and i was very keen to try my new tent, so packed up in the saturday morning, draw the route without any actual deadlines and went clockwise from south.
the only target i had, was to reach and drive in wales :)

here is the preliminary route, but i had more a and b roads

left home at 8am at saturday, came back home, at 9pm on sunday.
fuel prices within the trip varied between 126.9 and 141.9 (no joking).
really enjoyed the ride, as it was not just enjoyable, but also had some extra purpose :)

Well done mate.
The end of the road is the start of the fun

Fair play mate – know what you mean about the fuel prices, I stopped off in a Texaco near Tintagel (cornwall) on saturday to fill up and nearly fell off my bike when I looked across at the price on the sign. Supply and demand I guess, well, that and a captive audience in these out-of-the-way places.
